When we heard that supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested again, this time for the alleged assault with the deadly weapon known as a spit ball, our immediate reaction was, “And? ” After all, isn’t that what we expect from our SUPERmodels? Aren’t they supposed to be a little bit difficult? It’s what makes them fascinating, its wat makes them interesting, and its what makes them SUPERmodels.

No Catwalk, No Peace

This time it’s a spitball, last time it was a cellphone, next time it might be a small furry animal. So? Ordinary models don’t throw objects at their domestic servants or fight with the police for one very simple reason; they can’t afford to have domestic servants and to fight with the authorities! SUPERmodels. however, are given whatever they please, usually free of charge. Free drinks at Nellos, free cruises on Ron Peleman’s yachts, free designer bling at Barneys, Free Free Free. That way they have plenty of money left over to underpay their servants.

Looking fabulous all the time is very, very hard work indeed. You ordinary folks out there can only imagine how really really stressful that can be. So now get over yourselves and help us Free Naomi!
